Stanley MacEl

Stanley Macel currently serves as Associate General Counsel at Penn Mutual since February 2024. Prior to this role, Stanley held positions at the State of Vermont as Assistant General Counsel and General Counsel for the Vermont Community Broadband Board from November 2021 to February 2024. Stanley's experience includes serving as Financial Services Attorney at Axiom, Managing Director and Director/Senior Counsel at Guggenheim Partners, and Assistant General Counsel at FINRA. Stanley also worked at the US Securities and Exchange Commission as Special Counsel in the Division of Market Regulation and Senior Counsel in the Office of International Affairs. Earlier in the career, Stanley was an Associate at Leboeuf Lamb Greene and MacRae LLC and served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the Delaware Court of Chancery. Stanley Macel obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) and a Master of Laws (LLM) from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Williams College.
