Greg von Kuster

Greg Von Kuster is a seasoned professional in bioinformatics and software engineering, currently serving as a Senior Research & Development Engineer at Penn State University since June 2006. With experience in delivering Galaxy-based consulting services and developing Science Gateways, Greg has significantly contributed to advancing research through the use of the Galaxy platform. Previous roles include Senior Application Programmer/Analyst at Penn State (2003-2006), IT Program Manager at Adobe Systems (2001-2002), and VP Engineering at Coherity, Inc. (2000-2001). Greg's career began at Hewlett Packard Company, where responsibilities ranged from R&D Project Manager to Software Engineer. Greg holds a B.S. in Computer Science/Artificial Intelligence from the University of Montana and attended Stanford University for further education.
