Rachael Small

Rachael Small is an experienced veterinary technician with a career spanning over a decade in animal care, currently serving at the Animal Care and Control Team (ACCT) since 2010. Responsibilities include conducting animal intakes, physical examinations, vaccinations, and euthanasia, as well as preparing samples for testing. Prior experience encompasses roles at Cats Only Veterinary Hospital and Sniffles and Friends, where Rachael managed surgeries, collected health data, and oversaw the well-being of over 70 companion animals. Additionally, Rachael has experience as a program assistant with Project SHINE, where contributions included developing health literacy curriculums and recruiting volunteers, and as an animal room attendant at Monster Pets. Rachael holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Spanish from Temple University and furthered education at the University of Pennsylvania.
