Lucas Pion

Lucas Pion has a diverse work experience in the field of product and user experience design. Lucas is currently working at Pennylane as a Lead Product Designer since April 2022. Before Pennylane, Lucas worked at Startup Flow as a Product Designer from May 2019 to February 2021. Prior to that, they were a User Experience Designer at Landor & Fitch from December 2017 to March 2019, where they worked on UX design for websites, apps, and omnichannel touchpoints for global brands. Additionally, Lucas gained experience as a UX and VR design intern at Landor & Fitch, where they focused on digital projects, flow mapping, and developing VR tools. Lucas also worked as a UX/UI design intern at Volkswagen AG, where they supervised ideation workshops and conducted user research. Lucas began their career as a UX/UI design intern at Sensipode, where they conducted research, designed user flows, and prototyped for both digital and industrial design projects.

Lucas Pion holds a Bachelor's degree (BDes) in Digital and Interaction Design from L'École de design Nantes Atlantique, which they completed from 2012 to 2015. Lucas also has a Master's degree (MDes) in Immersive UX Design from the same institution, earned between 2015 and 2017. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree (MRes) in Virtual Innovation Engineering at Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers from 2016 to 2017. Prior to their higher education, Lucas completed their secondary education at Lycée Nicolas Appert - Orvault (44) and obtained a Scientific "Baccalauréat" with honours, with a specialization in physics and biology. Aside from their formal education, Lucas also holds a certification in Toeic 945 from the TOEIC® Program, obtained in 2014.
