Stephen Cooper

Stephen Cooper is the current Director of Finance & Administration at Penrhos College. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member and Chair of the Finance Committee at Braemar Presbyterian Care from August 2015 to July 2021. From June 2007 to July 2017, they were the Director of Redevelopment at St John of God Health Care, overseeing the Subiaco Hospital Project. Stephen was also the Chief Financial Officer at Coventry Group Ltd from June 1998 to June 2007, and Corporate Finance Manager at BDO in Australia from January 1991 to December 1998. Stephen began their career as an Audit Graduate/Senior at Deloitte from January 1989 to December 1991.

After high school, Stephen Cooper attended the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand to obtain their company directors course. Stephen then went on to the Australian Institute of Company Directors to get their graduate diploma in applied finance and investment. Afterwards, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from The University of Western Australia. Finally, they obtained their certification from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in Fellow, Finsia (Financial Services Institute of Australasia) in Fellow, and Australian Institute of Company Directors in Member.
