Hazel Bradford has extensive experience in journalism and communications, currently serving as a Washington Reporter for Pensions & Investments newspaper since May 2011 and volunteering for The News Literacy Project since September 2010. Previously, Bradford held the position of Director of Communications at the International Masonry Institute from January 1995 to October 2010, where a comprehensive communications strategy was developed to engage a diverse range of audiences. From January 1982 to January 1995, Bradford worked as a Washington Correspondent for McGraw-Hill World News, covering key issues related to labor, environment, housing, and energy. Additional contributions include being a Contributing Writer for Independent Business magazine between January 1990 and December 1994, and serving as Executive Director of the Independent Foundation of Florida from January 1980 to January 1982, focusing on refugee support and community outreach. Hazel Bradford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Lawrence University and New College of Florida.
