Dana Harris-Bridson is Editor-in-Chief of Indiewire. With more than 20 years of experience, Dana is one of the most familiar voices in entertainment journalism. As the leader of Indiewire, she has overseen its growth from a niche site devoted to independent film to an outlet that supports the voices of creative independence in film, TV, digital, and more.
Prior to joining Indiewire in 2011, Dana held editorial positions of increasing responsibility over 11 years at Variety, where she covered the entertainment industry in addition to launching Variety Life and serving as the editor of Variety.com. She has a B.A. in English/Communication Arts from Austin College.
