Joseph Sendra

Joseph Sendra has extensive experience in operations strategy and manufacturing engineering in the medical device industry. Joseph currently serves as the Sr. Vice President of Operation Strategy at Penumbra, Inc., where they have created and implemented an operating model to support the company's growth strategies. Joseph has also developed and deployed a consignment management model, resulting in enhanced customer experience, margin improvement, and increased sales.

Before joining Penumbra, Inc., Sendra worked as the Managing Partner at Operational Improvement Group, where they provided operational strategies and due diligence for various investments. Joseph has also served as the WW Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering & Technology at Johnson & Johnson, where they established multiple centers of excellence and achieved significant program and grant-aided research milestones.

Prior to their time at Johnson & Johnson, Sendra held various leadership positions at cordis Johnson & Johnson, including Vice President of Operations Engineering & Technology, Director of Strategic Programs, and Director of Strategic Operations. In these roles, they directed global engineering groups, managed construction projects, and led strategic planning and funding initiatives.
