Brooke Evans is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community development and student advocacy. As a YP4 Fellow at People For the American Way since May 2017, Brooke collaborates with local leaders to design actionable plans that promote positive community growth. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Government Official with the Associated Students of Madison, where Brooke managed a $51 million budget for over 1,000 student organizations, led a groundbreaking initiative to enhance food stamp accessibility at UW-Madison, established the first campus food pantry, and developed affordable housing initiatives for Pell Grant students. Additionally, Brooke has contributed to research focused on affordability and access in higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where roles included Undergraduate Research Assistant and intern. Brooke holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has also participated in a study abroad program at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici.
