Celine Lefebvre

Celine Lefebvre is an experienced humanitarian and development professional currently serving as the Resilience and Recovery Director at People in Need since May 2023. In this role, Celine manages a unit focused on recovery and resilience, co-leads the Community Planning for Durable Solutions and Recovery inter-agency working group, and engages in high-level external representation. Previous positions include Programs Director at Terre des Hommes Suisse, Programs Director for Ukraine at People in Need, and Head of Programs at the Danish Refugee Council for Burundi and Tanzania. Celine has extensive expertise in strategic program management, child protection, community resilience, and emergency response, demonstrated through a strong track record of leading diverse teams and implementing impactful programs across multiple regions, including the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe. Celine holds master's degrees in political sociology and political sciences, international relations from Université libre de Bruxelles.
