Marketa Pokorna

Marketa Pokorna has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and countries. Marketa started their career in 1997 as an Accountant at Projekce - PT, where they worked until 2006. In 2004, they joined the Information and Advisory Centre at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for coordinating international projects and representing the university in conferences and meetings. Marketa also had roles as an English Teacher at Language school GERMA and the University of the Third Age at the Czech University of Life Sciences.

In 2013, Marketa volunteered as a teacher in Nepal for Namaste Nepal, an NGO. Marketa later joined the Regional Authority of the Usti Region as the Representative of the Usti Region in Brussels, a role they held from 2007 to 2014.
