Network Engineer

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, with a focus on both general networks and specialized systems like SCADA. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, proficiency in network security protocols, and the ability to optimize network performance across various
application groups.

Key Responsibilities:
●   Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure to support business operations, ensuring reliability and performance across all systems.
●   Manage and optimize network resources for both general infrastructure and specialized systems like SCADA.
●   Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
●   Implement and maintain network security protocols to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
●   Collaborate with different application groups to ensure seamless integration and communication across the network.
●   Monitor network performance and make necessary adjustments to improve efficiency and security.
●   Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations, processes, and procedures.
●   Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement improvements to the network infrastructure.
●   Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:
●   Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
●   5+ years of experience in network design, configuration, and maintenance. 
●   Experience with both general network infrastructure and specialized systems like SCADA.
●   Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to manage and optimize network resources across different application groups.
●   Proficiency in network security protocols and performance optimization.
