Kevin Bates

Kevin Bates has a diverse range of work experience in the field of higher education and technology. Kevin currently works at PeopleGrove as the University Partnerships Director, managing both enterprise and regional partnerships. Before joining PeopleGrove, they founded and hosted Taproom Trivia WNY. Kevin also worked at Mentor Collective as the Partnerships Director, where they focused on promoting peer mentoring programs in higher education. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Partner Success at GeckoEngage, where they were responsible for sales and support for an AI-powered Chatbot. Kevin also had roles at Campus Labs, Canisius College, SUNY Brockport, and Medaille College, where they gained experience in student success, alumni relations, and college relations. Additionally, they held positions at The College at Brockport and Brockport Student Government during their undergraduate years.

Kevin Bates received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from SUNY Brockport in 2010. Kevin then completed a Master of Science degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from Canisius University from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Kevin participated in a Spanish Language Immersion Program at Universidad Internacional for a year in 2009. In 2008, they took part in the Communism in Eastern Europe Summer Program at Uniwersytet Dolnośląski DSW in Wroclaw, Poland.
