Spenser Benz

Spenser Benz, PE, is a seasoned Project Engineer currently employed at Peoples Associates Structural Engineers since October 2020. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Engineer at BüroEhring, where Spenser led the renovation project of 48 Dobbin St. in Brooklyn, NY, transforming a residence into an office space with a green roof, and designed the lobby entrance of the Albright-Knox Museum in Buffalo, NY. During tenure at Peoples Associates from July 2013 to January 2019, Spenser served as Project Lead on significant projects including the $750 million Mission Critical Facebook Data Center and the Riverwalk Apartment Complex in Danville, CA, featuring 144 luxury residences. Early career experience involved assistant engineering tasks focused on calculations for multi-family apartment complexes. Spenser holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering from UCLA and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, also in Structural Engineering, from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
