Francel Duminy

Francel Duminy has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Currently, they are working as a Data Science Lead - Risk at Pepkor Holdings Limited since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Principa for a significant part of their career. At Principa, Francel held various roles including Principal Analyst from January 2021 to August 2022, Head of Decision Analytics from June 2017 to January 2021, Manager Marketing Analytics from July 2014 to May 2017, Manager: Predictive Modeling from September 2012 to June 2014, and Analytical Consultant from January 2008 to September 2012. Francel also gained experience as a Data Analyst at Lewis Group for a short period in 2011.

Francel Duminy attended Brackenfell High School from 1999 to 2003, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. They later enrolled in Stellenbosch University in 2004, completing their Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science degree with a focus on Applied Maths and Operations Research in 2007. Subsequently, in the same year, they pursued their Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree in Operations Research from Stellenbosch University.
