Rich Osedacz is a seasoned professional in astrodynamics with extensive experience in both government and commercial sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Astrodynamics Specialist at Peraton, Rich provides technical risk mitigation strategies for the Special Space Systems program portfolio. Previously, at SAIC, Rich contributed as a Senior Staff Astrodynamicist, leading analyses for spacecraft mission requirements and advancing real-time Space Situational Awareness through a prototype fusion engine. Rich's experience also includes leadership roles at Lockheed Martin, where responsibilities encompassed managing mission analysis teams and providing technical leadership for significant projects. Rich began a career in the U.S. Air Force, initially as an Astronautical Engineer focusing on the Space Surveillance Network, followed by roles in ballistic missile performance analysis. Educationally, Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Astronautical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
