Albert Wong is a Machine Learning Engineer at PERCAYAI. Albert previously served as Chief Technology Officer at FindTheMasks from March 2020 to October 2020, where they helped launch the company and provided a simple, nearly infinitely scalable web architecture that, at its peak, coordinated a fast-turnaround data input + moderation pipeline used by 80+ volunteers worldwide during the initial response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Data was published in a way that helped other efforts get going fast. Infrastructure was used to power GetUsPPE's public needs map. No stats were directly collected, but at least 30 orgs embed the data and FindTheMasks has helped spur grassroots motion of upwards of 2-million PPE as well as provided a coordination resource for the Maker movement's response to Covid-19.

Prior to FindTheMasks, Albert Wong served as a Volunteer Software Engineer at DevProgress from August 2016 to November 2016. Albert was also a Staff Engineer at Google from January 2017 to August 2021.

Albert Wong started their educational career by attending North Seattle College through the Running Start program. Albert then transferred to the University of Washington, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering.
