Laura Zhang

Laura Zhang has a diverse work experience, starting as a Senior Class President at the Associated Students of Pomona College, where they organized all-class events and represented their class on various committees. Laura then worked as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant, co-teaching English to first-grade students and presenting a poster on bilingual education at a conference. Laura then joined McMaster-Carr, where they served as a Strategy & Operations Management Associate, Customer Accounts Supervisor & ERG Co-Lead, and Systems Operations Supervisor, managing customer accounts, implementing diversity initiatives, and supervising a team. After that, they worked as a Technical Account Manager at Humu, leading technical implementations for enterprise-level customers. Currently, Laura is a Technical Account Manager & Product Lead at Perceptyx.

Laura Zhang earned a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science from Pomona College, completing their studies from 2015 to 2019. Laura also obtained various certifications, including Data Analytics from General Assembly (year unspecified), a User Experience Design Certificate from General Assembly in 2021, a Systems Innovation Leadership certification from DSIL Global in 2021, Learning Excel 2019 from LinkedIn in 2020, and Wilderness First Responder from Wilderness Medical Associates International in January 2018. Laura was also recognized as a 2019-2020 US Fulbright Finalist by the U.S. Department of State in 2019.
