Emily Paffett

Emily Paffett, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Emily is currently working as the People Director at Perch Energy since November 2021. Prior to this, Emily spent a significant part of their career at Petplan Pet Insurance (North America) where they held various roles. Emily started as a Human Resources (HR) Generalist in April 2014 and progressively advanced to become the Senior Director, People & Culture in August 2021. During their time at Petplan, Emily gained experience in areas such as Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Compliance, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement and Retention. Before joining Petplan, Emily worked as a Human Resources (HR) Assistant at Dunwoody Village from April 2011 to April 2014, where they gained valuable skills in recruitment processes, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.

Emily Paffett, SHRM-SCP, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Mass Communication, and English from La Salle University, where they studied from 2007 to 2010. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained the certifications of Society for Human Resource Management - Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in August 2019 and Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2013.
