Jonathan Green

Jonathan Green has a range of experience in the environmental and engineering field. Jonathan is currently a Vice President of Environmental Operations at Perdue Farms, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Environmental Engineer at Perdue Farms from October 2022 to October 2023. Before joining Perdue Farms, Jonathan served as the Sr. Manager of Environmental Compliance & Sustainability at Wayne Farms from February 2019 to September 2022. Jonathan also held the position of General Manager at Tyson Foods from August 2018 to January 2019, following the acquisition of American Proteins, Inc. where they had been the General Manager since April 2011. Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked as the Director of Environmental Engineering for the Southeast Region at Pilgrim's from September 2007 to March 2011, and as an Environmental Manager at Wayne Farms from February 2007 to August 2007. Jonathan began their career as an Environmental Engineer at Gold Kist Inc. from November 2003 to January 2007 and gained valuable experience as an Environmental Engineering Cooperative Student at Ethicon, Inc. from May 1999 to October 2003. Overall, Jonathan has a strong background in environmental operations and engineering, with significant experience in managing sustainability initiatives, supporting compliance programs, and implementing pollution mitigation projects.

Jonathan Green has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy and Finance from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. Jonathan also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering, both obtained from Georgia Institute of Technology.
