Laurel Vicklund

Laurel Vicklund has a long history of working in the environmental field. Laurel began their career in 1989 as an Environmentalist for Cordero Mining Co. In 1996, they moved to Alpha Coal West as a Sr. Environmental Engineer. In 2011, they joined Peabody Energy as a Sr. Environmental Scientist. Most recently, in 2020, Vicklund joined Peregrine Global Services as both the Chief Social Responsibility Officer and the Vice President of International Operations. In their roles at Peregrine Global Services, they have been responsible for turning data into knowledge, knowledge into wisdom, and wisdom into action in order to make a difference in the world. Additionally, they have been responsible for providing assessment services, online educational courses and programs, and higher education support services to institutions of higher education located throughout the world.

Laurel Vicklund attended Leadership Wyoming from 2006 to 2007. Laurel then attended Colorado State University from 1975 to 1978 and earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Soils.
