David Scrowston

David Scrowston has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. David started their career in the Royal Navy as a Petty Officer Weapons Engineer and served from 1984 to 1990. Following their military service, they worked as a Telecoms Commissioning Engineer at Westinghouse Digital Electronics from 1990 to 1997. Subsequently, they joined BP Amoco as a Process Engineer and Project Engineering from 1997 to 2001. David then transitioned to Tata Communications, where they held the position of Cable Station Manager & Senior Engineer from 2001 to 2013. In 2013, they took on the role of Lead Project & Commissioning Engineer at Perenco UK Ltd and also became a Director at DS Seacom Ltd.

David Scrowston attended the University of Hull from 1999 to 2001, where they completed a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1988, they attended the HMS Collingwood (Weapons Engineering School of the Royal Navy) and obtained an Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) in Electronics & Telecommunications. Additionally, David Scrowston holds a certification in HNC, though the institution and the year of obtaining this certification are unknown.
