José Carlos Luna Manzanero

José Carlos Luna Manzanero has a diverse and extensive work experience in various industries. José Carlos started their career in 2004 as a Mechanical Workshop and Operations Supervisor at TTACASA, Cervecería Centroamericana, where they worked until 2005. José Carlos then joined Dragados y Construcciones S.A as a Gravel Crusher Plant Chief from 2005 to 2006.

In 2006, José became a Petroleum Engineer, focusing on Well Operations (WO) and Drilling at Perenco. José Carlos held this position until 2007, when they transitioned to the role of Maintenance Supervisor, overseeing maintenance activities.

From 2011 to 2012, José served as an Integrity Supervisor, responsible for ensuring the integrity of equipment and assets. José Carlos then became a Field General Supervisor from 2012 to 2015, overseeing field operations.

José's next role was Deputy Operations Manager at Perenco, which they held from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they managed onshore oil fields, refineries, pipelines, and oil exporting terminals. José Carlos was also the ALS (ESPs) Manager, responsible for managing artificial lift systems.

Currently, José is the Operations Manager, Production Services at Perenco since October 2019. José Carlos is in charge of managing production services operations for the company.

José Carlos Luna Manzanero pursued their education by first obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. José Carlos studied at the university from 2000 to 2004, specializing in the field of Engineering. Later on, José Carlos enrolled in the Instituto Europeo de Posgrado - IEP, where they completed a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) in the field of Administration and Finance. This program took place from 2009 to 2010.
