Joellen Grady has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Joellen is currently the Sr. Director of People & Culture at Perfect Day, where they are involved in rethinking how humans can do the right thing for the planet. Prior to this, they worked at North American Breweries, Inc. in various roles including Manager, Talent, Manager of Human Resources Operations, and HR Business Partner. Before that, they were a Human Resources Generalist at Independent Brewers United and Pyramid Breweries, where they also held positions such as Human Resources Administrator, Alehouse Manager, Alehouse Supervisor, and Bartender. Joellen began their career as a Psychology Research Assistant at UC Berkeley.

Joellen Grady obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology & Anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, where they studied from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Santa Monica College from 2000 to 2002, focusing on Biology. In terms of additional certifications, Joellen Grady obtained the following: SHRM-CP from SHRM in February 2015, Six Sigma Black Belt from North American Breweries (Oriel) in March 2013, Six Sigma Green Belt from KPS in August 2011, and PHR from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in January 2009.
