Maarten van Den Akker

Maarten van den Akker is an experienced quality assurance professional with a strong background in food technology and quality management. Currently serving as QA Manager at Perfetti Van Melle since January 2023, Maarten previously held the position of QESH Manager at Pally Biscuits from May 2017 to January 2023. Earlier roles include Kwaliteitsmanager at KDS and Kiwa CMR, where responsibilities encompassed quality systems development and maintenance. Maarten's earlier experience includes significant positions at De Banketgroep B.V. and Van der Breggen B.V. Maarten holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology and Marketing from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences and completed a Lead Auditor qualification for ISO 9001:2015 from Lloyd's Register LRQA.
