Arvind T Chelvan

Arvind T Chelvan has worked in various roles related to robotics and research and development from 2016 onwards. Arvind started as a Research and Development Intern at Qmax Test Equipments Pvt Ltd in June 2016 before moving on to become a Research Associate at ProjectEd in November 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Robotics Research and Development Engineer at Omnipresent Robot Tech and as a Research And Development Intern. From August 2018 to May 2019, they worked as a Robotic System Developer at DeTect Technologies, followed by a role as a Robotics Engineer at GreenSight from June 2020 to January 2021. Arvind then worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the NU Field Robotics Lab from May 2021 to May 2022 and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University from January 2022 to May 2022. Most recently, they have been hired as an Autonomy Engineer at PDW starting November 2022.

Arvind T Chelvan obtained a High School diploma from SBOA School and Junior College in 2013. From 2013 to 2017, they attended Sri Sivasubramaniya Nadar College Of Engineering and received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2019, Arvind enrolled at Northeastern University and is expected to complete a Master of Science degree in Robotics by the year 2022. Arvind has also obtained several certifications, including Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning, from Coursera. Furthermore, they have earned certificates in Robotics: Aerial Robotics and Robotics: Computational Motion Planning from Coursera Course Certificates.
