Melanie Berrios

Melanie Berrios has worked in the fashion industry since 1998. Melanie started their career at Doneger Buying Connection as an Assistant Market Specialist. In 2000, they moved to Liz Claiborne as an Assistant Designer/ Showroom Sample Coordinator. In 2003, they joined August Silk as an Assistant Technical Designer. In 2004, they began working at Phillips Van Heusen as an Associate Technical Designer, where they created technical packages for proto development, issued technical comments to factories via PDM through all stages of fit for the Bass Division, managed and coordinated weekly fit sessions with multiple parties, communicated with third party vendors for all outerwear and bottoms programs, maintained daily communication with factories, sourcing and design teams, and reviewed T. O. P. In 2009, they moved to Phillips- Van Heusen in the same role. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Performance Logic, Inc. as a Client Services.

Melanie Berrios received their Bachelor in Professional Studies Fashion Design from Marist College in 1998. Melanie also has experience with the School of Life.
