Roman Royzman

Roman Royzman has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Roman started their career as a QA Automation Engineer at Radware in 2015. In 2015, they also worked as a Java Developer at BD Innovations, where they developed and maintained APIs for a CRM system and worked on data processing and report generation modules.

In 2017, Roman joined Inetex LTD as a Full Stack Developer, where they worked on a web-social application for events. Roman was responsible for developing the server architecture, event modules, and integration with Google calendars.

From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Full Stack Java Developer at Malam Team Training Center, where they developed features and extended infrastructures for Migdal Technologies using Java and Angular/AngularJS.

In 2019, Roman joined Akamai Technologies as a Senior Big Data Developer, where they worked on the migration of internal applications from old Map-reduce to Spark apps using Scala API. Roman also focused on improving performance and fixing bugs in Spark apps.

Currently, Roman is working at Perion Network as a Big Data Tech Lead. Roman joined the company in 2021 as a Senior Big Data Developer and was promoted to their current position in 2022. Roman is responsible for providing technical solutions for the migration of Pentaho to Spark jobs and handling large complex data processing pipelines for the AdTech business.

Roman Royzman earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Tel-Ran Computing Solutions Ltd in Rehovot, Israel in 2015. Prior to that, they attended the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 2006 to 2012, although the field of study for this period is not specified.
