Hernan Rein

Hernan Rein has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Hernan is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at PerkinElmer, Inc. Hernan previously worked at Vopak as the Executive Vice President Human Resources & Communication / CHRO, where they focused on business transformation in areas such as energy transition, digital transition, and diversity & inclusion expansion. Prior to that, they held various HR roles at Vopak, including HR, Communication and Legal Director for the Americas and HR Director for Latin America. Before joining Vopak, Hernan worked at Schneider Electric as Senior Vice President Human Resource & Communication - Power Business, where they implemented global HR standards and policies, developed a global talent pipeline, and negotiated union relationships. Hernan started their career at Techint Group as an HR Manager.

Hernan Rein's education history includes an MBA degree specialized in Organizational Behaviour and Marketing from INSEAD in 2002. In 2007, they attended the London Business School for a program called HR Strategy for Transforming Organizations. In 2009 to 2010, Hernan studied High Performance and Effective Organizational Leadership at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. In 1999, they obtained a Diploma in Human Resources Management from IAE Business School. Hernan also earned an Honours Degree in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires between 1993 and 1998. In 2017 to 2018, they participated in the Leadership Development Program LEAD at the University of Oxford. Additionally, they earned an MBA degree from INSEAD and became a 2 Star Diver certified by CMAS - World Underwater Federation in 1995.
