Emily Escher Smith

Emily Escher Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of design and project management. Emily Escher started their career in 1992 as an Exhibit Developer at Discovery Place, Inc., where they worked on proposal writing and exhibit development projects. From 1993 to 1996, they worked as a Design Manager and Sales Support at Miller Services, providing space planning and layout support for the sales staff. In 1996, they joined Healthcare Interiors as a Project Manager for Interior Design, specializing in healthcare environments. In 2004, Healthcare Interiors merged with Perkins Eastman, and Emily became the Operations Manager and Senior Associate at the Charlotte office. Emily Escher managed the day-to-day operations and provided direction based on their extensive experience as a Senior Interior Designer and Project Manager. Throughout their career, Emily has also worked on various projects in healthcare, education, and commercial office design.

Emily Escher Smith received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Interior Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Emily Escher attended the university from 1986 to 1992.
