Mathew Snethen

With more than 20 years of expertise in diverse building projects, including both new construction and renovation projects, Mathew has always been interested in how the niche particulars of each type of project can in turn guide and influence his work. Designing everything from office buildings to mixed-use developments, schools to senior housing, large-scale residential to restaurants and theaters, he thrives on the nuanced challenges and opportunities that each project presents. Putting his wide span of technical experience to good use, Mathew has taught courses in architectural design and building codes and systems to college students in Chicago. When he’s not working, Mathew spends as much time as possible in the woods camping with his family, harkening back to his formative years in the Pacific Northwest.
