Akos Hoffer

Akos Hoffer has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Akos began their career as a Consultant at Aon in 1999, where they worked until 2003. Akos then transitioned to The Ottawa Hospital as an MHSc. Administrative Resident in 2006 before joining the Canadian Dental Association as a Manager of Practice Services in 2003. In 2008, Akos joined Perley Health, initially serving as the Director of Organizational Performance. Akos later became the Chief Operating Officer and eventually assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer until the present.

Akos Hoffer's education history begins with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Relations, which was obtained from McGill University between the years 1990 and 1995. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Health Administration (MHSc) from the University of Toronto, attending from 2004 to 2006. In 2012, Akos participated in the Not For Profit Governance Essentials Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. Finally, in 2019, they enrolled at Royal Roads University to obtain certification as an Executive Coach.
