Kaylie Young

Kaylie Young is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in materials chemistry and nanotechnology. Currently serving as Staff Scientist in Water Solutions RD&E at ChampionX since March 2020, Kaylie previously held the position of Staff Scientist in Energy Services RD&E at Nalco Champion. Kaylie's career began at Dow, where a range of roles included Associate Chemist and Senior Chemist, focusing on digitization strategy and the development of new chemical products. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Chemistry from Northwestern University and a B.S. with Honors from Brown University. Additionally, Kaylie has contributed to research through roles at Northwestern University and has been involved in international programs related to chemistry and nanotechnology.
