Yaxin Huang

Yaxin (Jason) Huang is a seasoned chemist with extensive experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as Lead Chemist at ChampionX since October 2018. In this role, Yaxin has successfully directed cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize over 10 innovative chemical products, generating more than $100 million in new business opportunities for major global energy companies including Chevron, ExxonMobil, Shell, and BP. Previously, as Principal Chemist at Nalco Champion, an Ecolab Company, Yaxin developed new surfactants and oilfield chemical products, contributing to significant revenue and cost savings through innovative processes and methodologies. Yaxin holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Clemson University and a B.S. in Applied Chemistry from China Agricultural University.
