Banu Demirel

Banu Demirel has extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Banu started their career as a Project Architect at FE Architect, where they led the design phases and was responsible for tendering process design and development of architectural projects. Banu then joined Emsaş Group Construction Company as a Project Architect, where they designed floor plans for Istanbul Başakşehir Health Campus.

Afterward, they worked at RÖNESANS HOLDİNG as a Project Architect, where they were responsible for designing floor plans for Istanbul Başakşehir Health Campus and Bursa Health Campus Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital. Banu also worked as a Project Supervisor at the same company, where they supervised cost control and budget planning for various projects and corresponded with Turkish and foreign companies for material pricing.

Banu'smost recent role was at Pernix Group, Inc., where they served as an Architect - Site Finishing Works Chief. Banu was responsible for technical supervision of ongoing architectural finishing work on the Uganda US Embassy Project. Banu handled various activities such as concrete surface preparation, plastering, wall finishing works, tiling, ceiling finishing works, and interior architectural woodworks.

Banu Demirel's education history includes a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree from Izmir Institute of Technology, which was obtained from 2004 to 2009. This was followed by two Master of Architecture (MArch) degrees, one from Istanbul Technical University (2009-2012) and another from Technische Universität Wien (2011-2012). At Istanbul Technical University, the focus of study was Architecture, while at Technische Universität Wien, the field of study was specifically the Department of Building Science and Technology.
