Banu Demirel has extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Banu started their career as a Project Architect at FE Architect, where they led the design phases and was responsible for tendering process design and development of architectural projects. Banu then joined Emsaş Group Construction Company as a Project Architect, where they designed floor plans for Istanbul Başakşehir Health Campus.

Afterward, they worked at RÖNESANS HOLDİNG as a Project Architect, where they were responsible for designing floor plans for Istanbul Başakşehir Health Campus and Bursa Health Campus Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital. Banu also worked as a Project Supervisor at the same company, where they supervised cost control and budget planning for various projects and corresponded with Turkish and foreign companies for material pricing.
