Olajide Olanrewaju (MNSE, R.Engr.)

Olajide Olanrewaju (MNSE, R.Engr.) has a strong background in electrical engineering with experience in various roles and companies. Starting in 2014, Olajide worked as an Electrical Design/Project Engineer at Dean and Partners, where they designed electrical systems in residential and office buildings, including extra-low voltage systems. Olajide also coordinated with other mechanical systems to ensure the desired electrical loads. In 2015, Olajide joined Kenol Nigeria Limited as an Electrical Design/Site Engineer, contributing to the design of electrical systems and participating in the preparation of tender documents for projects. At CHREMA TECHNOLOGIES from 2017 to 2018, Olajide continued to design electrical systems and extra-low voltage systems in residential and commercial buildings, as well as prepare workshop and as-built drawings. From 2018 to 2019, Olajide worked as an Electrical Design/Project Engineer at SLAVABOGU NIGERIA LIMITED, focusing on designing electrical systems and extra-low voltage systems using design software programs. Olajide then joined Lambert Electromec Ltd in 2019 as an Electrical Engineer, where they prepared material take-off schedules, designed electrical lighting and power systems, and created various types of drawings. Currently, Olajide is an Electrical Engineer at Pernix Group, Inc., working on the New US Consulate Compound project. In this role, Olajide collaborates with superintendents and engineers from multiple disciplines, supports the project with technical review and input, and assists with management of the electrical scope of work.

Olajide Olanrewaju obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Ibadan, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. In September 2019, they became a Registered Electrical Engineer through the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Additionally, in May 2018, they obtained certification as an Electrical Engineer from The Nigerian Society of Engineers.
