Bart de Vries has over 20 years of experience in the energy transition and clean-tech industry. Bart began their career in 2000 as a Product Manager at Bosch Security Systems. In 2001, they became an Idea 2 Market Learning Consultant at Philips. From 2016 to 2019, they held various roles at Philips Lighting, including Venture Board Member and Learning and Knowledge Lead - Idea to Market. In 2019, they moved to Philips as an Integral Project Lead Connected Health Devices. In 2020, they joined Perpetual Next as a Marketing Manager and Product Manager for Perpetual Carbon, Biocoal, Biochar, and Pyrolysis technologies. Bart also owned Fresta\u2122 at Celebita from 2012 to 2020.
Bart de Vries is currently enrolled in the Digital Disruption program at the University of Cambridge. Prior to this, they attended Harvard Business School in 2020 to study Disruptive Strategy. From 1993 to 1999, they completed a Master in Industrial Design at Delft University of Technology. Before that, they attended Ursula from 1986 to 1993 and obtained a VWO - Atheneum from Secondary School.
