Christopher Golden

Christopher Golden has a strong background in legal and compliance roles. Christopher currently serves as the Head of Legal, Risk & Compliance US at Perpetual Limited, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Senior Manager, Legal and Compliance, Chief Compliance Officer at the same company from December 2021 to April 2023.

Before joining Perpetual Limited, Christopher worked as the Legal Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Alternative Senior Secured Debt Fund Adviser from November 2018 to December 2021. Christopher also gained experience as the Interim General Counsel at an innovative market-leading student housing developer from November 2017 to March 2018.

In terms of their earlier career, Christopher served as the US Legal Counsel at a listed asset manager from October 2011 to June 2017. Christopher began their legal career as an Associate at Vedder Price from June 2007 to September 2011, and prior to that, they worked as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP from September 2005 to April 2007.

Christopher Golden attended Boston University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a B.A. in English. Subsequently, they studied law at Cornell Law School from 2002 to 2005, and obtained a J.D. degree.
