David Leahy

David Leahy has extensive work experience in various managerial and leadership roles in different industries. David started their career at KPMG Australia as a Senior Accountant and later worked as an Assistant Manager in Information Risk Management. David then joined KPMG as a Managing Consultant in the Banking Practice. David also worked at NatWest Group as a Senior Manager in Group Enterprise Risk and as the Head of Operational Risk for the Bank of China Partnership. At RBS International, they served as the Head of Integration & Change and later took on the role of Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer for Singapore & South East Asia and for China. David also worked as a Business Transformation Principal at SAP, Executive Director of Operations at Property NSW, Chief Technology & Services Officer at oOh!, and as an Independent Management Consultant. Currently, David is the General Manager and Integration Program Director at Perpetual Limited, overseeing the post-acquisition integration of Pendal Group into the company.

David Leahy attended SHORE from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a Higher School Certificate. From 1993 to 1995, they studied at the University of Sydney and earned a BComm. degree, specializing in Accounting, Economics, Commercial Law, and Industrial Relations. In 2000, they pursued further education and achieved certifications from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand as a Chartered Accountant (CA Aust & NZ). Additionally, David has obtained numerous certifications in various fields, such as AI ethics, cybersecurity, project management, and blockchain, from institutions like LinkedIn.
