Irene Gonzalez-Newman

Irene Gonzalez-Newman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the fashion industry. Irene is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Design and Merchandising at Perry Ellis International since August 2020. Prior to this, Irene held the position of Senior Vice President of Design, Merchandising, and Product Development at Hudson's Bay Company from August 2019 to July 2020. Irene also served as the Vice President of Design, Merchandising, and Product Development - Private Brands at Hudson's Bay Company from January 2013 to August 2019.

Before joining Hudson's Bay Company, Irene worked at Macy's as the Vice President of Design for Style & Co. | Style & Co. Sport from January 2012 to January 2013. Irene served as the Vice President of Design at New York & Company from March 2008 to December 2011. Prior to that, Irene worked as the Women's Design Director at Steve & Barry's University Sportswear from July 2006 to March 2008.

Irene Gonzalez-Newman started their career at American Eagle Outfitters as a Senior Designer from September 2000 to July 2006. Irene began their professional journey at Tommy Hilfiger as a Designer, where they worked from May 1996 to April 2000.

Irene Gonzalez-Newman received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design - The New School from 1992 to 1996.
