Cindy Lu

Cindy Lu has over 30 years of experience in UX research and design. Cindy has held various roles in different companies, including BNY Mellon | Pershing, Albridge (an Affiliate of Pershing), iNautix (USA) LLC, HFE Consulting, LLC, Lucent Technologies/CSG Systems, BCAM International, and Donghua University.

In their most recent role as Sr. Vice President at BNY Mellon | Pershing, Cindy created a UX research framework and integrated it into the product lifecycle. Cindy led over 30 UXR projects, resulting in major product launches and increased user satisfaction. Cindy also presented research insights to product managers and senior leaders, supporting innovation roadmaps. Additionally, they led a UX team in creating a new wealth performance reporting capability, which won an industry award.

As Vice President at Albridge, Cindy evangelized UX research and co-created a Customer Feedback program. Cindy managed teams in the US and India and played a key role in designing and launching a new generation of Albridge Wealth Reporting application.

At iNautix (USA) LLC, Cindy built and managed UX teams and led the design and launch of web and mobile applications for financial institutions. Cindy also worked as a Principal Consultant at HFE Consulting, LLC, where they conducted user research and created UX designs for various industries.

Earlier in their career, Cindy worked as a Sr. Human Factors Engineer at Lucent Technologies/CSG Systems, designing UIs and conducting user studies for telecommunication devices. Cindy also served as a Director at BCAM International, conducting user studies to evaluate the usability of industrial and consumer products.

Cindy's career started as a Lecturer and Researcher at Donghua University, where they developed a software with a HVAC system hardware that significantly improved the quality and productivity of a textile factory.

Overall, Cindy has a strong background in UX research and design, with a track record of leading successful projects and driving innovation in multiple industries.

Cindy Lu has a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Louisiana State University. Cindy also has an M.S. in Engineering Science from the same university. Additionally, they hold an M.S. in Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineering from Donghua University, as well as a BSEE in the same field from the same university.
