Wyclife Aketch is a Venture Builder at Persistent, focused on identifying and evaluating investments, as well as offering venture building support to companies across Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Prior to joining Persistent, Wyclife was an Investment Analyst with Energy Access Ventures (EAV) - a renewable energy fund investing in decentralized energy assets across SSA. For over three years, Wyclife focused on deal sourcing, due diligence, and financial analysis, portfolio management and external partner engagement. Before EAV, he worked with General Electric’s Global Operations finance team and supported various businesses across the continent. Wyclife holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a specialization in Finance from Strathmore University.
