Alex Moir

Alex Moir has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. In 2004, they worked as a Test Center Administrator at Prometric, where they ensured the integrity of testing services and maintained a secure testing environment. From 2010 to 2012, Alex worked as a Broadband Provisioning Representative at Granite Telecommunications. They then joined Summit Healthcare Services in 2012 and held multiple roles, including Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and Senior Implementation Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for determining operational feasibility, documenting solutions, and designing system specifications. In 2021, Alex joined UMass Memorial Health as a Senior EPIC Applications/Systems Analyst, where they led studies, designed information systems, and developed application specifications. Currently, Alex holds the position of Senior Data Extraction Engineer at Persivia Inc., starting in 2021.

Alex Moir completed their high school education at Lexington High School from 2001 to 2005. They then pursued higher education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, General, from 2005 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Alex has obtained several certifications, including "Beaker Clinical Pathology" from Epic in February 2021, "Programming Foundations: APIs and Web Services" from LinkedIn in December 2020, and "The Data Science of Healthcare, Medicine, and Public Health, with Barton Poulson" also from LinkedIn in December 2020.
