Umara Rashid has a diverse work experience in marketing and digital engagement. Umara started their career at Lane12, where they held roles as a Digital Media Accounts Director and Manager, working with clients such as L'Oreal, Mobilink, Telenor Pakistan, and Standard Chartered. Umara then joined GSK as a Multi-Channel Engagement Manager, where they provided leadership in developing the company's digital marketing strategy and oversaw the implementation of multichannel activities. After that, Umara worked at Big Bee Hive as a Manager of Digital Engagement & Strategy, where they played a key role in digital media strategies, team management, and client relationship management. Currently, they are the Marketing Director at Persivia Inc.

Umara Rashid completed their education in a chronological manner. Umara first attended NED University of Engineering and Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication from 2005-2010. Following this, they enrolled in the Institute of Business Management and obtained an MBA in Marketing between 2011 and 2013. Finally, Umara attended the University of Toronto from 2016-2018, where they studied digital communication and strategy management, specializing in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
