Matej Hrescak

Matej Hrescak is an experienced design professional currently serving as a Design Director (IC) at Personio since August 2023. Prior to this role, Matej was a Product Designer at Config, focusing on empowering hardware teams, and held the position of VP of Design at Prisma, where the goal was to simplify data. With a background that includes significant tenures as a Product Designer at Facebook and Mixtent, Matej also co-founded several startups, including Nicereply, where leadership in product design and user experience was key. Additionally, Matej has experience as a Co-owner and Advisor at Bonetics and served as Art Director at Websupport, where brand visual communication strategies were developed. Matej's professional journey began with a solid foundation in 3D art and compositing, making contributions to TV commercials for various clients. Educationally, Matej holds a Master's degree in Transportation Design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava.
