Matt Shannon

Matt Shannon is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in design and product strategy. Currently serving as Design Principal at Personio since March 2024 and as a Product Advisor at AKOU since November 2023, Matt has held prominent roles in various organizations, including Service Design Lead positions at Spotless and Sopra Banking Software, and Senior Product Lead at Sensate. Notable previous roles include Senior Service Designer at St. James’s Place and Service Strategy Lead at Rightmove. Matt's career began after earning a Bachelor of Arts in Product Design & Visual Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, with a focus on service design and product strategy across multiple sectors, including the public sector with the Department for Transport.
