Allison Petersen has had a varied work experience. Allison started in 2010 as a Visual Merchandising Manager at The Buckle, where they learned that all levels of an organization need to work together to reach the greatest outcome. In 2012, they began working as a Server at Buffalo Wild Wings, where they learned that effective management is critical for the success of the company. In 2013, they started working at Outback Steakhouse as a Server, and at Siouxland Gymnastics as a Daycamp Supervisor, where they learned to be patient and level headed when providing quality service. Allison also began working at Beyond The Bell in 2013, where they held the roles of Director of Elementary Programming, Director of Marketing, Public Relations, and Communication, Training Coordinator, Site Coordinator, and Onsite Supervisor. Finally, in 2017, they began working at Pet Parents\u00ae as both the Director of Operations and Operations Assistant.

Allison Petersen has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Developmental Psychology from Morningside University, which they obtained between 2011 and 2014. Allison also holds certifications in New Staff Orientation Trainer from Iowa State University (2014), Blood Born Pathogens (2013), Mandatory Reporter (2013), CPR from the American Red Cross (2014), and First Aid from the American Red Cross (2014).
