Benjamin Belbis

Benjamin Belbis has had extensive experience in various roles and companies throughout their career. Benjamin most recently worked at Petal as a Product Owner, starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Product at Butr Inc. from September 2019 to April 2023.

Before their roles in product management, Benjamin held positions as a Scrum Master at AmpMe from March 2018 to September 2019, at Breather from April 2017 to March 2018, and at Yellow Pages/ Pages Jaunes - Canada from July 2015 to March 2017.

Their earliest experiences include working at ORSYP, where they held multiple roles. Benjamin was a Scrum Master/Dev Manager from January 2013 to January 2015, leading an 8-person team in implementing Agile methodologies and promoting good practices within the Scrum team. Prior to that, they were a Lead Software Developer from March 2011 to December 2012, contributing to the development and maintenance of ORSYP's Dollar Universe software. Benjamin also served as a Software Engineer from October 2008 to February 2011, focusing on integrations between Dollar Universe and third-party systems.

Throughout their career, Benjamin has demonstrated a strong background in software development and project management, with expertise in Agile methodologies, team leadership, and technical design.

Benjamin Belbis has a Master of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Telecom Bretagne. Benjamin also has a Master of Research degree in Computer Science from Université de Bretagne Occidentale. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) from Scrum.org in December 2013 and ITIL Foundation from EXIN in September 2012.
