Frederic Filiatrault (He/his/him), EMBA

Frederic Filiatrault has an extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Frederic is currently the Director of Software Development at Petal since November 2022. Prior to their current position, they worked at UKG, starting in September 2022 as an Engineering Manager for Forecasting before transitioning to the role of Engineering Manager for Platform in January 2021. Frederic also served as a Technical Lead from April 2018 to March 2021 and as a Senior Software Engineer from December 2017 to April 2018 at UKG.

Prior to UKG, Frederic worked as a Senior Software Engineer at TEKsystems from October 2015 to November 2017. Frederic also held the position of Engineering Director of Cloud Architecture at Ubios from August 2014 to October 2015. Notably, they served as a Team Lead/Architect at Croix Bleue du Québec from February 2010 to November 2014.

Before their tenure at Croix Bleue du Québec, Frederic gained experience as the President of Apokai Consulting from February 2008 to September 2011. Frederic also worked as a Senior Analyst at Novartis from March 2009 to February 2010 and as a Senior Analyst at Société des alcools du Québec from February 2008 to February 2009.

Earlier in their career, Frederic worked as a Freelance Contractor at OSI from 2007 to 2009. Frederic also held the position of Senior Developer and Senior Developer Designer at Compuware Corporation of Canada from 2006 to 2008.

Frederic Filiatrault completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Informatique et Recherche Opérationnelle from Université de Montréal from 1996 to 2001. Frederic then pursued a Spanish Certificate from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal from 2004 to 2006. In 2013, they further expanded their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal.
