Melanie R. has extensive experience in global marketing, holding various leadership positions in well-known companies. Melanie currently serves as the VP Global Marketing at Petal since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Valtech, where they held the same role from 2022 to 2023, and also served as the Vice President Marketing & Innovation from 2019 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing marketing activities, implementing new ways of working, and leading the Experience leads to drive innovation and collaboration.

Before joining Valtech, Melanie worked at the National Bank of Canada from 2015 to 2019, where they held multiple senior director roles. Melanie'sresponsibilities included developing marketing plans and strategies, transforming marketing practices, improving employee accountability, and enhancing digital strategies.

Melanie also gained experience at Mediative, where they served as the General Manager from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they contributed to the development of effective marketing strategies and successfully managed operations and client relationships. Prior to this, they held various positions at Mediative, including Digital Marketing Strategist and Senior Manager - National Sales.

Earlier in their career, Melanie worked as the National Sales Director at TMP Directional Marketing from 2002 to 2005 and as an E-Product Specialist at TMP Worldwide from 1999 to 2002. Melanie also had a role as Coordonatrice Web at Station Mont Tremblant from 1999 to 2001.
